About me

Hello! I am Joshua, a high school senior in Maryland who has long been interested in pipe organs. A few years back, when I was first discovering digital organs, I had the idea of sampling an old Lowery organ that was barely playing. I had obtained it for free because it was in poor condition, and it was my first organ. I wanted to sample the organ to preserve it before it broke. I spent the next two years learning everything involved with recording and processing a sample set. Though I have not yet sampled my Lowery (still might), I began with a much larger pipe organ, the beautiful Di Gennaro-Hart organ at Bethesda Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, outside of Washington DC. Now, I am looking forward to making more sample sets of American organs in the future. I hope you enjoy them!

Just a quick note: These sample sets are only models of the real pipe organs. Though I hope they are largely indistinguishable from the actual pipe organs they represent, I can make no promises that they are. Inevitably, there will be some differences from the actual instruments. If you are curious to see how each sample set sounds, I recommend listening to the demo recordings and trying out the free demo version if it is available before purchasing.
